About Keirstin

Hi! My name is Keirstin and I am currently an emergency dispatcher. I'm looking to move out of my role as a first responder so that I can have a bit more work/life balance with my daughter. I have spent roughly 8 years working with children ranging ages from Newborn to 14. I have also spent time working with developmentally disabled children as an RBT, and foster care youth as a skills coach. Additionally, I spent time volunteering as a CASA (court appointed special advocate). I have a bachelors degree in Psychology, much of which was spent focusing on child psychology & theories of learning. I am CPR certified, SIDS certified and first aid certified. I am currently enrolled in my Masters of Forensic Psychology. With my combined education and experience, I meet the credentials to be a Director of any preschool in Illinois. Ideally, I would bring my daughter along with me.
