Experienced caregiver with 14 years of dedicated service, passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care to every client. My mother and I work as a team, offering 24-hour care. Together, we cared for a client for 5 years and 9 months, forming a close bond until her recent passing. I have experience with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, sarcoidosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, Parkinson's, shingles, arthritis, heart disease, COPD, and osteoporosis. My responsibilities have included bathing, grooming, feeding, assisting with bathroom needs, daily dressing, fall prevention, using transfer equipment (Hoyer lift, gait belt), light cooking, cleaning, laundry, and transferring between bed and chair. I also transported clients to medical appointments, communicated with families daily, and provided companionship through games, puzzles, and meaningful conversations.
