I am majoring Child Life Specialist. My experience taking care of kids with special needs was a wonderful experience. I took care of a boy, who was autistic, has low muscle tone, and sensory problem. I can really say it was a really good experience working with him. He was a wonderful boy and I made him feel comfortable with others. I would make him feel special and that he was like the rest, he was afraid to play with other kids, but I would try make him fit in since he was so afraid.
