A lifelong pet parent, cats, birds, and dogs. I currently have a 4yo Blue Heeler, so high energy is nothing new to me. I also have previously had a blind Chihuahua so I can help animals with special needs and/or who prefer to be held most of the day. My cat was diabetic so I am comfortable administering medicine when needed. I also enjoy reptiles and snakes (non venomous of course) as well as birds. Just imagine a Disney princess surrounded by animals, that is me! Animals, even shy ones, feel comfortable in my presence. They can tell I have a genuine love for them and care for their comfort and safety. I regularly pet sit a Retriever/Lab mix when his parents go on vacation. He loves me so much that he's happy to see me there every morning we wake up not just when I initially arrive. Working with him has reminded me that I can have a meaningful way to make a living, doing something with purpose.
