About Keaton

With a PhD in Human Genetics and many years of academic experience in scientific research, consulting, and tutoring, I am passionate about helping my students master biology, chemistry, and math. My primary background is in biochemistry and genetics, but with that education comes organizational and teaching skills as well. I have become good at breaking complex topics into understandable bits, helping students to better understand the topics they struggle with. I am excited to work together and help my students improve their academic performance. I like tutoring because it offers me an opportunity to help students get excited about the topics we discuss. I really enjoy the process of watching a topic click for a student that was previously giving them problems. School can be stressful, so any opportunity to help a student alleviate some of that stress and feel more confident about their work is a golden opportunity to me.
