My name is Kayte and I have been teaching children with intellectual disabilities since 2017. I recently earned my Masters in Special Education from Liberty University and earned my bachelors in Psychology at James Madison University in the fall of 2016. I specialize in teaching elementary-aged children who have moderate to severe disabilities, including autism and children who are physically handicapped. It is in my best interest to get to know your child on an individual level, and their safety is my number one priority. I am very familiar with using Assistive Technology devices and implementing a variety of accommodations and modifications that will help your child to understand concepts and skills being taught. My overall goal is to help your child learn the skills they need in order to be successful in academic and functional settings.
