About Kaylie

As the oldest of six children, I developed a passion for caregiving from a young age. Growing up, I frequently took on babysitting jobs for friends and family, gaining hands-on experience in creating safe, nurturing environments for children of all ages. I recently completed my bachelor's degree in psychology and I am eager to pursue a higher degree and a career working with children. My approach is grounded in attentiveness, creativity, empathy, and patience. I believe in fostering a warm, supportive space and I enjoy helping with homework, organizing science experiments or craft activities, and doing nature walks with little ones. I love helping little ones further their learning and curiosity for the world around them. For older children, I really like to take on a 'big sister role' and treat them just as I would one of my own siblings. Although they don't need the same hands-on approach as young children, I am there to help and support them in any way they need me.
