Here's a little bit of get to know me info: In high school I worked at daycares for ~3 years, then with special education students with the Salem-Keizer School District for the next 2. 5 years. These were such rewarding jobs that brought moments of joy everyday. Young humans are truly remarkable! I admire their curiosity, resilience, and creativity. I'm also an animal lover who grew up with cats and dogs. They're a calming peaceful presence and I enjoy spending time with them! In 2023 I graduated as a 4. 0 Research Fellow in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry. This fall I expect to return to school for a Masters I'm Ecology. My favorite hobbies include doing puzzles, going for a hike, listening to audiobooks, and practicing yoga.
