About Kaylee

Hi, I'm Kaylee! I recently moved to Mar Vista from the Midwest. I work full-time remotely in Communications and on central time zone, so I have longer evenings to fill! I have an extensive background involving children. My main roles besides babysitting throughout my life have included being a Behavioral Interventionist for foster children, implementing trauma-informed care and interventions to improve behavioral patterns. This mainly takes form in play therapy to engage their brains to create new positive experiences :) I have also worked as an early preschool teacher, caring for a class of 8, 2-year-olds. I also was a Psychology major with my main studies in the Research Lab being foster children's attachment styles, and obtained a certificate in Child Forensic Psychology. My favorite thing about caring for children is supporting them in creating their own personhood and providing the safety and experiences for that to happen. I would love to support your family!
