About Kaylee

Hi, I'm Kaylee! My journey in childcare commenced at the age of 13, where I embarked on assisting in children's church programs. Since then, I have dedicated summers to fostering growth and creativity as a preschool summer camp counselor. I most previously worked as a camp counselor at a year-round school track out camp, enriching young minds in an engaging environment. In such position, I worked with ages five to 13 on a daily basis, for roughly three years leading to a sufficient range of skills and being exposed to various situations. Patience, empathy, and adaptability are at the core of approach, allowing me to connect with children of varying temperance and backgrounds. A few of my interests include hiking, thrifting, and traveling. I am currently completing my Bachelor's of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. My end goal is to obtain my Nurse Practitioner license and work in Pediatric Oncology.
