About Kayla

I'm a caregiver because I have a genuine passion for helping children grow and develop into their best selves. I've worked in childcare for three years and have experience caring for children of all ages. I'm calm, patient, and friendly, though I can be a little awkward at times! Nothing but brutal honesty here. I am also a little anxious but I do pride myself on my ability to work through it and manage to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day. I currently work at a nursery so hourly communication with parents is an essential part of my job. In addition to my experience, I am First Aid and CPR certified. Besides playing board games and educational games with children, I also enjoy helping out with cooking and light housekeeping.
