About Kayla

Hi there! My name is Kayla and I'm currently a full-time graduate student pursuing my Master of Arts in Elementary Education at Northeastern University. I am currently seeking a part time tutoring/babysitting job for about 20 hours a week. Most recently, I monitored, supported, and assisted a second grade student with her online classes, homework, and additional educational activities while she participated in a hybrid model. In the past, I worked as a teacher's assistant for a Preschool 1 classroom. In this job, I helped three and 4-year-old children learn their letters and numbers, as well as other basics, including days of the week and shapes. I understand what a strange and chaotic time this must be for your children and I would love to provide some normalcy and consistency for them. My goal is to help them remember this year as one of the best years of their childhood, rather than the year of COVID :)
