Hello! My name is Kayla. I have been working with children for 10 years in a wide range of settings. I've worked in a daycare, as a therapist, in youth centers and as a music teacher! I am looking for a family who is patient, good at communicating, creative, flexible and kind. I have my degree in psychology and am a semester away from earning my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am comfortable working with neurodivergent children as well as children with behavioral and mental health challenges. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I am currently working on growing my own business. Because of this, I am looking for hour flexibility. COVID vaccination cards are a must! Kayla was my daughter's favorite preschool teacher. She has a calm, soothing aura about her. Once, when trying to remove a splinter from my daughter's hand, I asked her to think of something that calmed her down... she stopped, closed her eyes, and told me she was thinking of Miss Kayla.
