I have been babysitting since I was a teen. I began working with people with special needs in college. I have experience with lots of different disabilities. I connect really well with people with special needs and enjoy my time with them. Every person is unique my favorite quote is if you've met one person with special needs you have met one person with special needs I find this work to be incredibly rewarding and something I can excel at. I love building genuine friendships with the people I caretake for and doing what I can to make their days a bit bright. I have experience teaching at Preschool where we had some kids with special needs. I have also worked as an RBT at an Autism center for a year and a half. I'm now hoping to spend some time working one on one with someone I can develop a good relationship with while I finish up college.
