About Kayla

From September to November of this current school year I was a long term substitute at Orchard Park High School. During this time I have co-taught English 9 and the Senior Elective Fright Fiction. In May 2020 to June 2020 I was a long term subbing position at Orchard Park High School. I met with students virtually and created online lesson plans. I taught English 10, Creative Writing and Drama during this subbing position. I have been a substitute in the Orchard Park District for a year. During my student teaching I was placed at Orchard Park High School for 14 weeks and worked with students from grades 9-12. I worked closely with English 11 and English Composition students during this placement. I have subbed within the Orchard Park School District for a year. I have a M. S. Ed in Secondary Education (7-12) with a concentration in English, a BFA in Theatre Performance, and BA in English. Outside of teaching, I have 10+ years of babysitting experience.
