About Kayla

Hello! I am a recent college graduate who is currently applying to dental school for a Fall 2021 start. I want to help families throughout this upcoming school year navigate the unprecedented grounds of remote learning. While in high school, I as a peer tutor for English, Math, History and Science. While in college, I was the Head Teaching Assistant for a biology course and volunteered every weekend to tutor local elementary school children. I have a lot of experience working with students of different ages and abilities and am excited to continue to be able to help students learn in the most fun, effective way as possible. I also love athletics, arts and crafts, hiking and would be more than willing to combine these activities to make the academic curriculum more active/hands-on and keep the children engaged.
