Hi, my name is Kayla! With Covid-19 making it extremely difficult to continue my studies, I put a halt to formal education and spent a couple years as the Head Baker of a popular local café. As much as I enjoyed baking, I decided I wanted to move on to other interests of mine, including working with children. I have experience working with children of all ages, but mostly the range of 1-10! I love to incorporate my own passions into our days. Which includes arts and crafts, gardening, music and reading; along with time for outdoor exploration either at a playground or a park (weather permitted), and if the parents are comfortable, some light baking projects. I am a very devoted and hard worker. My core philosophies while caring for children revolve around patience and flexibility. ** I also adore animals of any kind, so pets are always a plus for me!

My 3 girls absolutely adore Kayla!! They look forward to seeing her and get excited each time they know she is coming to our home. She has taken care of our girls from infants to present for 6 years now. I highly recommend Kayla to anyone needing a caring, reliable, dependable childcare provider.
