I became a caregiver over night. My grandpa suffered a massive stroke and was left paralyzed and very sick. (Was actually like my grandpa, help raise me) At 16 years old I put my all into him and became a 24/7 caregiver. He soon passed and realized that this is my dream to take care of elderly. I'm 24 years old and worked in the feild for a while now. I'm wanting to be a nurse. I have a cat that I love very much. I live in hinesburg Vermont. I'm very compassionate, caring, and very friendly. This is my dream. a good caregiver can meet that need in many ways, sometimes being their sole companion. And one of the most rewarding benefits of caring for seniors is the relationships developed. Often the elderly receiving the care see their caregiver as "family." I have a lot of experience working in dependent, living and independent living nursing homes for many years. I have done bathing medication, reminders, meal prepping washing, showering and laundry. This is a career I wanna pursue.
