About Kayla

I have been a people person my whole life, I thrive on connections and it's part of the reason I am studying to be a teacher! I have a bright and funny personality but can balance upholding boundaries with the littles. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed numerous courses related to child care and best practices to keep kids safe (feel free to ask more!) I like working with kids because it allows me to make connections with children and learn from them. I also love the opportunity to build a creative, fun, and loving environment for kids. My first experience watching after children was at age 10 with my 4 cousins that ranged from 4 months old to 7 years old. I always had a nurturing instinct that has grown as I started babysitting more often; At 15 I worked at a summer camp and a kids' club where I cared for infants, toddlers and school aged children. From there I worked as at a daycare for a year before accepting my current job of 2 1/2 years as a Kids Supervisor.
