About Kayla

Hello! I'm Kayla. I'm a student at FSU and am about to complete my bachelor's degree. As the oldest of four girls, I've had the privilege of helping my parents raise my three younger sisters, ages 15, 10, and 5. My experience caring closely for one of my sisters who has ASD has taught the importance of patience and understanding in caregiving. My calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity and friendly nature, allows me to connect with children effortlessly. I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates and ensuring their preferred method of communication is followed. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I firmly believe in following the parents' lead to maintain consistency for your child. I enjoy a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical activities to engaging board games and educational games that foster learning.
