About Kayla

My name is Kayla and I am finishing up my degree in marketing! My childcare experience: I have worked in childcare most of my life, at home-daycare, at a curriculum-based preschool for 3 years, babysat 7+ years for 10+ great families, I've done daycare drop-offs, and have had two nanny positions for 2 sweet babies. I have cared for children infant-teen. I have cared for children infant-teen. About me: I am a lover of kids, animals, family + friends, reading/writing, exercise, travel, Starbucks, & more. I love to work- as I also work in pet care, waitress, and have juggled 3 internships! I have a valid license and my own vehicle (a small SUV). My approach: I have a passion for childhood development and love to spend time outdoors, outings to age-appropriate activities (library/playground/etc), focus on play-based learning, and have a warm, energetic, and empathetic approach. I am looking to find a full-time position starting in May/early summer with a lovely family to be a part of.
