About Kayla

Hello, I am looking for an opportunity to care for 1-2 kids! I am currently a stay at home mom to my 2 kids (almost 5 and 1. 5). I am a former preschool special education teacher of many years. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Cognitive Disabilities. I also have experience with homeschooling kids of different ages including my own children, and nannying for many many years (the exact number would age me) in the summers :) I provide: -Age appropriate routines -Respectful parenting strategies -Lots of fresh air -Play-based learning -Speech/language support -Fine and large motor activities -Social emotional learning Please be a vaccinated family, including Covid and Flu, as well as nonsmoking. I would be available on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays for the rest of the current school year. Located in Chisago City, and care would take place in my very toddler-proofed home. Also open to half days.
