About Kayla

Hello, my name is Kayla L. and I have 8 years of experience teaching and am currently in school at FSU for my masters in social work. In this changing and challenging educational climate, I would like to offer my support for families who may be struggling with virtual learning, loss of learning gains, or who may just need the guidance of an experienced and understanding teacher. As a certified secondary English teacher, I have over 8 years of experience, however, I have worked with kids for over 15 years in many different capacities and over several age groups. I have the unique training to help your child with their schooling and also to be a weekend babysitter or part time nanny. My focus is on offering my full attention to your child and ensuring that our time together is enriching and fun! I have experience as a summer camp counselor and nanny. Coordinating games is one of my favorite things to do! House and pet sitting also available.
