About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla and I am going to be a graduate student at Columbia University in the fall. For the past 4 years, I have worked for a family in New Jersey whom I met on care.com! They are with 7 dogs all ranging in breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I would walk the dogs, feed them, "dog-sit" them, and stay with them while family was away on vacations. I have also cared for small pets such as hamsters and lizards/geckos. In addition, I am familiar with medications and administering meds (one family I sat for had a diabetic dog who needed insulin and such). I have also dog-sat for other families in the neighborhood. Now that it is time for me to start graduate school and move, I will be leaving those dogs and looking for dog walking or sitting jobs in my new neighborhood. Dogs are my biggest passion and I love all breeds! I can't wait to find new families to work for and hope that I can form a special bond with your dogs as I have formed with the others.
