About Kayla

I worked at a program through the YMCA called, Summer Reading Learning Loss Prevention Program. I had the opportunity to work with third graders. My job title was an assistant teacher. My role as an assistant teacher was being responsible for assisting children with their reading and writing skills, and building communication skills with them also. I also worked with this program called 21st Century. It is an after school program in a elementary school. The responsibilities include being in charge of 10 to 15 students, taking them to different activities, helping them with their homework, and providing them a healthy and safe environment where every student feels like they belong and are welcomed. I have my bachelors in Psychology with a concentration in adolescent behaviors and by the end of the month I will be graduating with my masters. I have used Care. com in the past and have nannied several children aging from newborn stage to 14 years old.
