About Kayla

I'd describe my personality as light hearted and childlike when the situation allows for it. I'm also not hesitant to be serious when that's what's needed. I'm fun, caring and driven. I like tutoring because I love watching kids finally understand something that they were struggling with before. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be able to teach kids things they didn't know and to help them succeed in their academic careers. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I did one on ones and group setting tutoring up to 6th grade. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my husband and family. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated to my work and will do whatever it takes to help your child succeed. I adapt my teaching style to what works best for each child. Whether that means movement and games or flash cards and worksheets is dependent on the child. My skills include preparation, adaptation and practical application.
