About Kayla

With a genuine love for working with kids, I bring both experience and energy! Ive worked as an assistant teacher at a kindergarten and at a nursery with children aged 4 months to 3 years, giving me hands-on experience in childcare. Growing up with two younger siblings has also helped me develop strong caregiving skills, and safety is always my top priority. In addition to childcare, I have a passion for animals. I volunteered at a dog shelter, caring for both dogs and cats, and at home, I have a playful 4-year-old Dalmatian-so I'm very comfortable around pets of all kinds! As a student-athlete at the University of New Haven, where I'm pursuing my MBA, my schedule is busy, so I primarily take ONE-TIME jobs rather than recurring positions. I love being active and making each day fun, whether it's engaging kids in outdoor activities or ensuring pets get the care they need. I look forward to helping when I can!
