About Kayla

Hello! I have been a teacher for 9 years and with that comes a wealth of experience in working with a variety of students and student needs! As an educator, I strive to teach the whole child (cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically). Whether I am working as a special educator, elementary teacher, or teaching students learning English as a second language, I adapt lessons to meet the needs of each individual learner. I am a positive role model who is flexible, dependable, committed, reflective, cooperative in a team approach, and has great communication skills. As a leader, I motivate others to achieve their highest potential. Over the past few years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with a Kindergartner, First grader, Second grader, and Fourth grader who attended school virtually! Together we completed daily lessons, assignments, assessments, and I was able to offer additional teaching support and lessons to fill areas with more academic need!
