About Kayla

Growing up I've always had a strong desire to help others in any way that I could. Currently I am in nursing school and halfway done with my dream of becoming an RN! I began working with, and caring for, seniors on and off since 2013. In total, I've worked with over 20 seniors with development disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, and so on for over 5 years. I've performed various tasks such as; meal preparations, toileting/bathing, scheduling/attending medical appointments and administering medications and more. What I love most about caring for seniors is I have really been able to make a difference in their lives and for each person I've cared for I've been able to learn a tremendous amount from them. My hope and my goal is that by caring for an individual I can relieve the various worries one may have, help them remain positive, and ensure that they retain not only their dignity, but their independence as well.
