About Kayla

I'm Kayla, a Kindergarten teacher with a passion for developing and caring for children! I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, and spend my days helping children develop foundational skills in a fun, supportive environment. My philosophy centers around fostering curiosity and building confidence, whether that be in the classroom or in the home. Beyond teaching, I enjoy cooking, playing guitar, and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines. These passions influence my approach with children, whether it's inspiring them to stay active, or learn through hands-on experiences. My background as a former collegiate soccer player and coach has played a significant role in shaping my belief in the importance of physical activity and social interaction for children's development.
