About Kayla

From my teenage years and into my twenties, I volunteered at my church as an infant caregiver. Professionally, I have worked as a nanny for three families over the course of the last three years, and I absolutely love what I do! I try to make every moment a learning moment. I've taught the kids I nanny letters, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, and basic responsibilities appropriate to their age that help them grow in their sense of personal capability and independence. I've also gained experience with potty training! In addition, I'm used to tidying up the house with some light housework, emptying and refilling the dishwasher, folding laundry, preparing meals, reading to the kids, and making sure they get outside for some quality playtime. I'm also happy to drive any kids I nanny to and from school or extracurricular activities, help them with homework, and simultaneously take care of any pets in the home.
