About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I have 8 years of experience caring for children & a passion for creating a safe, nurturing environment while supporting families any way I can. I have a college degree in biology & previously worked as a substitute teacher & 8th-grade bio teacher before transitioning into a career in hospitality. I like working with kids because I love being a positive influence in their lives. Watching them grow, learn, and develop new skills is incredibly rewarding. I am First Aid & CPR certified, reliable & trustworthy. I'm friendly, creative, curious & I love engaging kids in fun, educational activities. I'm also self-aware & open-minded, making it easy for me to adapt to different family needs. In my spare time, I enjoy walks with my dogs, yoga and spending time with my nieces. I recently moved to Buda, TX from MA & am excited to connect with local families. I have reliable transportation & am happy to help with daily chores.
