I have spent most of my life caring for others. I feel the people I've worked with have brought just as much value to my life as I have theirs. I have 10 years of professional experience in several different settings. After trying something different the last couple of years I'm excited to get back to working as a care giver. I like caring for people with special needs because I enjoy seeing people succeed in their personal goals. I started working around adults with special needs as a teenager. I would do odd jobs around my a family members AFC home and spend time getting to know her residents. My skills include: getting to know each individual for who they are and what they need Maintaining a calm demeanor and environment Accessing situations to see what I could be doing better.
