About Kayla

I'm a career Licensed Veterinary Technician with 6+ years of experience, mainly in the emergency/critical care setting of small animals, with BLS (Basic Life Saving) and ALS (Advanced Life Saving) Certifications as well as Fear Free training. With a lifelong passion for animals that stems back to my earliest childhood memories, some of my fondest being with our first cat my family got when I was 6 years old, and spending time at family friends' farms helping them with various tasks with their wide range of pets. Throughout my life, I've had personal experience owning/caring for a variety of exotics, such as freshwater species, reptiles, invertebrates, and amphibians; pocket pets, rabbits, cats, dogs (from tea cup to giant breed), and even some farm animals. My ultimate goal is that pet owners feel they can truly rest easy knowing their family member, no matter how big or small, will be in the absolute best care whenever they need it.
