About Kaya

I'm looking to provide summer childcare for one child in my Eugene apartment. I have two boys of my own, ages 7 and 1, who also would love to have a friend around! Our summers consist of walks to the nearby playgrounds, library, bike path, and public pool... and of course countless hours playing with toys and art supplies. We drive a van with lots of room for another kiddo, so transportation is a non-issue. Overall we plan to make this summer a full one! My experience consists of a two-year course in Child Development and Early Childhood Education, during which I interned in both a kindergarten classroom and an infant/toddler daycare. I also nannied for a family with four children (6 m - 9 yrs old) for a year, until choosing to become a stay at home mom. In my free time, I like reading, gardening, nature photography, writing and bird-watching, and am currently working towards my bachelor's degree.
