About Kaya

Howdy! I am a 4th year Art Major at UCSC and am currently looking for some part time work and would love to be of help to your family! With two years of experience caring for children ages 0-11, I'm comfortable caring for up to multiple kids at a time. As the eldest child in my family I am also comfortable caring for infants and toddlers. I have worked as an children's art instructor and I am passionate about arts education for children and hope to work in the field one day. I enjoy leading activities such as arts and crafts projects, reading books, playing puzzles and games. I love to spend time outdoors at the park and west cliff as well. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, housekeeping, and pet care. I follow parents' preferred communication methods to keep them updated on their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and have First Aid and CPR training. I hope to work with you and your family soon!
