About Kaya Isabela

Hello My name is Kaya Sweeney. I am 22-year-old and college student from Oakland California. I am currently attending University of California Santa baraba and majoring in communication and feminist studies. I am the oldest of six siblings and have always had a passion for taking care of children. I have a background in Nannying and childcare, I worked at the Claremont Kids Club and was a summer camp counselor as well as a Kids Club staff member for 2 years and was responsible for up to 20 kids at a time between all ages, learning how to accommodate their needs as well as making sure the parents needs were met as well, such as creating lesson plans and games, putting the infants to sleep, as well as organizing lunch and free time. I think it is extremely important for children to be supported and in an environment where their creativity and imagination can be expressed.
