Hello! I am currently a Peace Corps Response volunteer serving as a Special Education specialist at a University in Mexico, I'll be returning to the U. S. and beginning grad school at USD in the fall. I'll be pursuing a degree in Peace and Justice studies, with a concentration on educational equity policy work and advocacy. Prior to peace corps, I was an elementary special education teacher in a high support needs AU classroom, a nanny through my undergrad, and have been in some form of childcare or education position throughout my teen and adult years. While I am enjoying many aspects of my year of service, I miss working with kids! I find a lot of joy in supporting the growth and development of our future - and nannying while pursuing my master's seems like a great balance.
