About Kaya

Hi! My name is Kaya, and I recently moved to DC after graduating from Wellesley College. I have years of experience babysitting, nannying, and tutoring. I've worked with children from ages 1-18 and I really enjoy working with kids! I have extensive experience working with students with learning differences and executive functioning challenges. Currently, I work full-time at University Legal Services- a disability aid nonprofit. I have 4 sisters, three of which are younger than me. I have been around kids for as long as I can remember! I started babysitting in middle school, and during quarantine I worked full-time as a nanny. Throughout college and high school, I worked at summer camps, tutored, and volunteered as a classroom coordinator for 3 & 4th graders. In my spare time, I like to read and craft! If your kids enjoy arts, I am SO happy to think of ways to help them engage with crafty projects. I recently rekindled my love of reading, and I am always looking for book recs!
