About Kaya

Hello! I'm a junior Genomic Medicine major at Temple University. I currently take care of two rambunctious cats and have grown up with animals in my home my entire life. As well as two years paid dog sitting experience, I have fostered 3 adult cats until they found forever families. Big or small, I will take care of any furry friend! I'd like to pursue a pet care job because it aligns perfectly with my flexible internship hours while offering a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Caring for pets is more than just a job, it's a chance to make a positive impact on their lives and ensuring their wellbeing as animals. It's a role where my love for animals can truly shine through. Working with animals is very uplifting, and their companionship can be therapeutic as well. It's so exciting to learn the distinct personalities of every animal I meet. Fun Fact: Owners can be known to share such personality traits as happiness, intelligence, independence, and sense of humor with their pets!
