About Katy

Hi there! Thank you for looking at my page. My name is Katy, and I have four years of experience caring for children ranging in age from 6 weeks-14 years old. My last two years of high school I worked for Douglas County School District as a preschool substitute assistant where I worked children aged 3-5 years old. I then started college where I nannied during my summer breaks. I graduated from the University of Colorado - Boulder with a degree in physiology in 2020. Since then, I have worked at a medical center as a medical assistant, which included pediatrics and OB/GYN care where I gained experience caring for newborns. I am certified in infant and adult CPR/first aid. I was recently accepted into PA school, but am switching jobs before my training begins for a break from healthcare. My PA program does not start until August 2025. In my free time, I enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors, golfing, attending stand-up comedy shows, and spending time with my lovely family and boyfriend.
