I looooove animals and have had cats and dogs all of my life! We've always adopted shelter pets, so I'm more than comfortable with a pet who requires a little extra patience, understanding and work. I grew up with big dogs, like huskies and lab mixes. I currently have a mini dachshund rescue pup and a rescue cat who was going to be put down because people kept bringing her back because of her attitude. Turns out she just needed love, understanding and patience. Now we can take her hiking on a leash. I also had a chinchilla for over a decade. I love animals and am not afraid of a pet with an attitude. If your pet boards with us, it must get along with our cat and dog. Would love to have them. We have a fenced in back yard on base.
