About Katura

With three years of experience as a professional caregiver, I aim to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for your child. My years of teaching have taught me that patience, creativity, and a friendly approach are key to connecting with children. I love playing outdoors, arts and crafts, and reading! I maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates and using their preferred method of communication. I have my CDA for infants and toddlers (Child development associate) am CPR/First Aid certified, fluent in English and know the basics of American Sign Language (ASL). I have a car and am comfortable and used to taking care of multiple children at a time. I'm currently a lead teacher in a toddler aged classroom but am looking for more a flexible schedule as I have a 3-month-old baby girl who I plan on having with me during my hours of work. I hope to be the caregiver who supports your family and provides a reliable childcare option for you!
