About Kattie

I am 25 years old and I am a single mother of 2, I use to be a childcare teacher. I use to work with the 2-year-olds for 4 years and 1 year of preschool experience, currently I work at the Reading School District as a paraprofessional working with kids with disabilities I was a classroom assistant and now I'm a 1-1 para I work with one child throughout the day. I've always enjoyed working with children it comes very naturally to me. I have a big family of my own so kids have always been around. I think every child is unique in their own way and I love to see them learn and I love to engage with children and show them new and fun ways to learn. Some activities I love are doing crafts, teaching them their abc, coloring, playing outside, I'm always coming up with ideas to keep them busy. I do have all my clearances done due to working at the school district and I will be starting my degree in special education in the spring.
