I have experience with babies and children of all ages! I know how to encourage children to have fun and use their natural curiosity while still maintaining structure. I believe children are individuals deserving of respect and understanding. I understand and appreciate attachment parenting methods. I'm familiar with bottle feeding both formula and breastfed babies. My most recent experience with children was as an assistant at a Montessori school. I was often responsible for supervising 15 children during playtime, and I was always given the job of dealing with the "problem" children because I was able to see that they were not a problem, they just needed someone to understand them. I'm currently in school for early childhood education and hope to find a family that I can work with throughout my schooling. I take COVID precautions VERY seriously, stay socially distanced, and hope to find a family that does the same!

Katrina was our full-time nanny for one year during the heart of the pandemic in Minneapolis. Her love and care for our child during this extraordinarily hard time not only changed our lives, but made our life as a family possible. When she told us she was moving to Springfield to be close to family, we did not want her to leave! Katrina was ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS a professional communicator, and, most importantly, worked patiently and diligently to create a bond with our one-year-old in a time when normal social interaction was curtailed due to public health concerns. Our child's eyes always lit up when Katrina arrived; they were best buddies. We miss Katrina so much, and are also so happy that she's able to be where she needs to be right now. We would welcome Katrina back into our home as a nanny--and as a family member--any time.
