My experience first began when I worked summer camps at the YMCA, watching over children ages 6-14. I'd be responsible for driving to specific locations, such as the zoo or to parks, and keeping track of the kids. I'd also help them out with crafts, sports, getting their lunches and maintaining good communication about issues/reports with their children. I took a break from this once I went to college, but picked it up again after I graduated. Since my experience at the YMCA, I've just been watching over friends' young children and really enjoy it!
