I am a special education teacher, certified in Florida. I have certifications in K-12 exceptional student education, ESOL, autism, and reading. I've been a special education teacher for 10 years, six of those years being in a high school environment and the remaining years in middle school. My area of specialization is in autism, although I've worked with students who have had either no disabilities or various disabilities, including intellectual challenges, severe emotional disturbances/behavioral disorders, and learning disabilities. I have experience in teaching students who are on a standard diploma track (Language Arts, Biology, Algebra I, Geometry), as well as special diploma. I was also a club sponsor and am familiar with event planning, conducting meetings, and was very involved with community service activities. I've tutored various levels of students, ranging from elementary to college level, and in various subjects.
