Hi, I'm Katrina. I really enjoy working with children and have for the past 10 yrs! My educational background and experience centers around children (birth-12 yrs). I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies and a Master's degree in Elementary Teaching. I especially have a passion for caring for young children (0-5 yrs). I currently nanny for 1 family. In Sept 2020, I began nannying for a 12-month-old girl (now 5 yrs). When her younger sister reached 3-4 months of age (now 3 yrs), I started caring for both children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers especially. With 3 families, I have cared for their very young infants. I also am comfortable caring for more than one child at a time, and have done so for 4 families. In addition, I have experience tutoring and student teaching elementary-aged students.

Katrina has been a wonderful caregiver for our son from his infancy through toddlerhood. My son smiles and dances when he sees Katrina walk through the door and we know that he is happy and well-cared for. She is a kind and calm person who brings out the best in our son. She has helped him work on new skills such as practicing new words, sitting unassisted, using utensils at mealtime, learning to crawl, and so much more. She helped us with the difficult transition from exclusive nursing to feeding with a bottle, and I honestly don't know that we could have made the switch so easily if it weren't for her. Katrina fills our son's day with a variety of stimulating activities like singing, artwork, reading, and time outdoors. Katrina has been a terrific addition to our family and has played an essential role in helping to raise our son. I always trust that my son is in the best care with her.
