I'd describe my personality as outgoing, optimistic, loving and very committed. I like caring for seniors because I have always enjoyed their company and helping others with their needs I'm looking for a career that is in a home with a loving environment caring for people who need help I have been a caregiver to an Alzheimer's patient for over a year now. Before I took care of her I was a friend of her and her husband. Taking care of Alzheimer's patients can be challenging but it really suits me. lots of understanding and love helps them get through the day a little easier. In my spare time, I like to cook be with family and paint. I truly love being a caregiver. It's such a blessing to be doing something that I enjoy and can see the rewards of a happy patient. My skills include feeding, grooming, assistance in the restroom. Clothing hair and general care. Also mind exercises brain stimulation using puzzles crosswords flash cards etc. Keeping busy can also help the day go better.
