I cared for a wheelchair bound patient who was partially paralyzed from a condition called Transverse Myelitis when she was 2 years old. I aided in all of her care, from transferring, bathing, to bladder/bowel regimens. She was 15-18 years old when I cared for her. I am a very patient compassionate person and truly enjoy helping others. Caring for individuals with special needs is something I feel very passionate about. I feel they should receive the respect and dignity they deserve.

Our child is very shy and takes a while to warm up to a person, however, Katrina is the first person to bring our daughter out of her shell. She fell in Love with Katrina from day one. When shes with our daughter, no one else can be around, she will give you bad looks, she only wants Katrina. She is very helpful, dependable, understanding, kind and patient. She cares very much for our daughter. She take great pride in what she does. We will keep her around for as long as she can stay!
